Creating Bat-Friendly Gardens and Urban Habitats to Help Prevent Bat Extinction

September 21, 2022(CT)1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

For our ecosystems to thrive, we need bats. They help with pest control, their guano serves as an organic fertilizer, and they pollinate over 500 kinds of plants. Unfortunately, nearly 200 species of bats are now threatened with extinction. With Bat Week approaching, now is the perfect time to learn how corporate landowners can support bat populations and help prevent their extinction.

On September 21 at 1 pm EDT, join Erin Cord from Bat Conservation International and Frank Ridgley from Zoo Miami for a webinar where they’ll discuss the basics of creating a bat garden and the importance of urban habitats for bats. Register today: https://bit.ly/BatWeek2022
